The new MB (Muscle Back) irons maintain the classic lines, profile, solid sound, feel and shot-shaping precision of classic forgings. However, they also provide modern playability, a benefit resulting from more than thirty years of player research and development, engineering innovation and advances in manufacturing processes. The MB irons feature a redesigned back and faceted surface known as the "dog bone." This surface is larger in the heel and toe while narrowing behind the impact area. This allocates more mass behind the impact area for the traditional solid feel expected from blade irons.
A Tour-preferred satin finish that reduces glare also accentuates the toe and topline profile for easier alignment of the face and confidence at address. The sole has been improved, with trailing edge and heel relief for reduced resistance through the turf - this is great for players with a shallow angle of attack who tend to pick the ball off the turf. In addition to the sharp finish and optimized sole, the MB is a smaller, constant blade length with minimal progressive offset for preferred set up appearance. A narrow, cambered sole creates an ideal bounce angle for crisp contact and more relief on off-center shots.
MB Forged = High Performance. Traditional Feel. Contemporary Blade Look. Enhanced Shot Control.

I upgraded after 5 years with the Callaway X-18's and now my entire bag is Titleist. These clubs are incredible. They are not as difficult to hit as many say, however I will say that it took me two range sessions to get them zero'd in. But once I was got the feeling down, these clubs performed flawlessly. The ball is really hot off the face and it feels leaps and bound better than my old cavity backs. I won't be changing clubs for a very long time.
You will absolutely love these irons

They are GORGEOUS clubs and have such a great feel to them. There was and still is NO unsatisfactory comments to say and or make about them!! You will absolutely love these irons. Thank you.
